The LIFTSUP handle, a new handle for SUP boards invented by Matt Friedman and Brian Szymanski looks like a great improvement over the standard hole handles provided currently by manufacturers.

The handle has the perfect name of LIFTSUP and features a standard hole slot handle but with a retractable handle that hides in the hole when not in use and lifts out of the hole to provide an easy carry handle for transporting the board. The LIFTSUP handle reduces finger and hand fatigue and makes it easier to move the big SUP boards around.

Let’s hope we see some manufacturers begin incorporating this new, improved handle in their boards soon. We think it is super slick and will be a great advancement in making the sport more user friendly.
