The fifth stop of the Stand Up Paddle World Tour was just completed in Brazil. The Maresias Pro in Sao Paulo was won by Brazilian Leco Salazar who overcame a tough heat with Kai Lenney who came in second.
With his second place finish in this fifth stop of the tour, Kai Lenney secures the World Championship for the second year in a row. He won the first two stops, and placed 3rd in Tahiti and fourth in the Huntington Beach Pro which is enough to give him the championship going into the final stop of the tour in Hawaii. Congratulations to the nineteen year old.
